Well I'm happy to report that I finally remembered to bring the camera . . . two weeks ago to Kate's first cheer class. It's taken me until now to load them. Oh well, I've been busy: Sarah was due to start kindergarten at our neighborhood school on July 23rd. We'd been to orientation on the 19th and I was feeling really worried about it. The school is over crowded and her teacher seemed a bit grouchy - but being Supermom - seeker of perfection - I was convinced that it was just me so I kept quiet. The night before school, as I prepared her back pack Jeff mentioned his concerns. Validation, yay!!! So we decided to put her at a charter school instead. She will start August 6th.
Back to my excuses for being a slacker . . . well, with the change to a charter school - all the school clothes (okay not all, but many) had to be returned. Then the hunt for uniforms was on. Navy or Khaki bottoms and Red, White or Blue Polo tops. Easy right, sure it is. I won't go into detail on the expedition for cute knee socks and tights; I'll just say that Sarah, at age 5, is really, really into fashion.
In the midst of all this self induced drama we did manage to make it to the girls' activities. And I even remembered the camera. I have two week old pictures to prove it.
