VBS

The girls went to VBS at Our Savior again this year. The theme was Gadget's Garage. Sarah was a SAW and Kate was a Wrench. Neither of the Schultz girls were asked to leave this year so I'd say it was a success.

This is fun!

Clyde

You know you're a Supermom when you fall for the "I don't have a pet of my own" routine and let your seven year old buy a white guinea pig that looks like a giant lab rat. Enter Clyde. or Co-lyde-a-pea J. Schultz as he's sometimes called.

Miss Sarah wanted a pet of her own. One she can hold. Obviously Laurel is no good, because she sleeps with Kate. (Not any more, she wet on the dining room rug last night so she's going to the crate at bedtime for the foreseeable future.)

Clyde came from Petco. He was rolly-poly and had spunk - not like the other guinea pigs who just sat there. No, Clyde went on a running fit and sat in his food dish with a very James Dean look in his beady pig eyes. He's cool!

He's CLYDE!

Welcome to the family.

He's mine too right?

" Now lets review. This is my house.
Stay in your cage and I won't eat you.
If I see you running around just once . . .
I just can't guarantee you won't get hurt."

Arizona Summer

Peace-out Illinois! We're going to Arizona!!

Non-stop flight on Allegiant Air - awesome!!

Miss Sarah lost a tooth the first night.
Fortunately the tooth fairy found her in AZ
and left her five dollars and a bunch of pixie dust.

Does it get any better than swimming
in Granie and Grandpa's pool??

Dinner with Miss Yeagley and Mr Matt.

(Sarah's Kindergarten teacher and her fiance)
Sarah really loves her.

A visit with our good friends the Schmids.

Dress up.

.

Playtime with our cousins.
Kate and Danny.

.

Sarah had to get in the tub after swimmning.
There was too much acid in the pool the first day
and her tender skin got burned.

.
Quail Eggs.
We watched these eggs the whole visit.
They hatched days after we left.
It was good to be home although the visit was too short! We saw some friends and mom worked a lot. We didn't get to see all our friends; next time we'll plan a longer visit.
